Project Manager for the Peer Support Demonstrator Site
Jess Allerton has worked on implementing Department of Health policies for the NHS for 12 years, including:
- Mental Health National Services Framework; designing systems to establish and support Community Mental Health teams.
- Fit for Purpose review; Modernising old psychiatric wards into Community Mental Health outpatients and resource centre.
- Access Booking and Choice policy; developing a whole systems outpatient booking pathway and implementing Choose and Book for a community trust.
- Musculoskeletal Services Framework: redesign work to design a Community Assessment Service bringing several pathways together in an acute orthopaedic setting.
- Fetal Anomoly Screening Programme implementing best practice screening pathways in an acute maternity setting.
Jess has been with Brighton and Hove PCT for 3 years and is now the Project Manager for the Dementia Demonstrator pilot in Brighton and Hove as part of the National Dementia Strategy.
Jess is a Chartered General Manager and recently qualified Advanced Practitioner in Programme Management.
